GM Danny Guba Seminar

Grand Master Danny Guba returned to Norwich on the 13th July for the first time this year. The day was a great success and a good time had by all. Over 20 people were in attendence made up of different styles, systems and abilities. The feedback from everyone was great and an experience to be repeated.

The day started with a light warm up, basic double stick twirling, which was a good ice breaker. The topics GM Danny covered throughout the day were single and double stick twirling, San Miguel, knife work and Empty hand work (mano-mano). Everyone training, beginner to advanced was able to take something away from the day.

On a personal note it was great to walk around and lend a hand when needed and see everybody smiling, laughing and having a good time, which is what the whole day is about.

A highlight of the day was that Jenny Taylor and Myself were awarded our next Dan Grades. Jenny Taylor from 2nd Dan to her 3rd Dan and Myself to 1st Dan in the Doce Parse System. The club itself is registered to teach the Doce Pares Multi system under Danny Guba.

I would like to thank everyone who attended as they helped to make the day the success it was and we are planning to repeat this later on in the year.
